Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 July 2026

These terms govern bookings made with Mistral Charters through this website. By placing a booking you agree to them. Questions: info@mistralcharters.com.

Bookings & payment

  • A booking is confirmed once the deposit is paid and you receive a confirmation email with your reference.
  • A deposit of 30% of the charter price is payable at the time of booking to secure your slot.
  • The remaining balance is due on the day of the charter, before departure, unless agreed otherwise.
  • Prices are per charter and shown in euro (€).

Cancellations & changes

  • To cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible quoting your booking reference. Notice is measured from the scheduled start time of your charter.
  • More than 48 hours' notice: you may either reschedule to another available date, or cancel for a refund of half (50%) of the deposit paid.
  • Between 24 and 48 hours' notice: the deposit is non-refundable, but you may reschedule once to another available date.
  • Less than 24 hours' notice (or no-show): the deposit is non-refundable and the charter cannot be rescheduled.
  • Any rescheduled charter remains subject to availability and to these same terms.
  • We may reasonably substitute a vessel of equivalent standard where necessary.

Weather & safety

Safety is our priority. The skipper reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or cut short any charter at their sole discretion where weather, sea conditions, or other factors are deemed a safety risk. The skipper's decision is final.

If we cancel a charter prior to departure due to unsafe conditions, we will offer you the choice of rescheduling or receiving a full refund of your deposit.

Liability

We provide our charters with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or from guests not following safety instructions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
